Ex Internationals Cup: Apapa Iganmu Chairman, Saliu Commends Lagos FA

Apapa Iganmu LCDA chairman, Mr Jimoh Olawale Saliu has commended the Lagos FA for empowering former national team stars through the ex internationals Cup.

Saliu believes the countries heroes deserve the accolades they are getting through the ex internationals Cup while they are alive not forgetting their labors in bringing glory to Nigeria.

He emphasized that the union of the ex internationals will ignite the younger ones to be passionate and disciplined with their career.

“As we used to say in our national anthem, that the labors of our heroes’ past shall never be in vain, it’s better they’re celebrated while they’re still alive.

“Their coming together will enhance the younger ones coming to the sport.”

32 former national team stars will compete in the ex internationals Cup as they breed the next generation of stars for the national team.
