Bamigbetan Visits Olasoju, Harps on Unity Ahead of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II Race
Former Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Kehinde Bamigbetan, has paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area, Otunba Adebayo Olasoju, describing the meeting as one centred on purpose, unity and partnership.
The visit comes shortly after Bamigbetan obtained his expression of interest and nomination forms to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II.
Speaking after the meeting, Bamigbetan said it was an honour to meet with the council chairman, whom he described as a leader committed to grassroots development and the welfare of the people.
“It was a great delight to pay a warm courtesy visit to the dynamic Executive Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Otunba Adebayo Aremu Olasoju, a leader whose passion for development and love for our people shines brightly,” he said.
According to Bamigbetan, discussions during the meeting focused on the development and growth of Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II, with particular emphasis on strengthening unity within the ruling party.
He disclosed that Olasoju urged party members to shun internal divisions and avoid actions capable of undermining collective progress.
“Otunba Olasoju passionately encouraged all party members to desist from any form of fighting or internal conflict, reminding us that we are one big family. He stressed that unity is our greatest strength and that we must work together for the progress of our great party, the people we serve, and to restore the lost glory of our constituency,” Bamigbetan stated.
The former commissioner said the chairman’s message resonated strongly with him, noting that peace, brotherhood and collective purpose remain essential for sustainable political and developmental progress.
He expressed optimism that with visionary leadership and a united front, Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II would witness accelerated growth and transformation.
Bamigbetan also thanked Olasoju for the warm reception and valuable counsel, reaffirming his commitment to working collaboratively for the advancement of the constituency.
