Aggey All Stars successfully hosted their annual football exhibition game, using the occasion to promote religious harmony between Christians and Muslims while marking the birthday of the team’s President, Alhaji Sharafa Oyeniyi, popularly known as Timber.

The highly symbolic encounter between the Christian and Muslim teams ended in a thrilling stalemate. At the final whistle, players from both sides embraced each other in a show of unity and sportsmanship.

Speaking through his representative, Temidayo Agbabiaka, the team’s coordinator, Sesan Owadokun, explained that the annual event is designed to strengthen bonds among the Christians and Muslims who form the majority of the team’s members.

“The goal is to foster unity and togetherness,” he said.

“We believe that by building an all-inclusive alliance, Aggey All Stars will continue to grow stronger and prosper, while also creating platforms for positive networking among members.”

“We will be participating in major corporate and friendly matches throughout the year,” Ajibade said.
