Laide Bakare Opens Up on Love Again, Plans Third Marriage

Popular Nollywood actress and producer, Laide Bakare, has revealed that she is set to walk down the aisle again, marking what she describes as her “first official” marriage.

Speaking in a recent interview with content creator Akin Abolade, the actress said preparations for the wedding are already underway, although she did not disclose the date or the identity of her fiancé.

“I will soon be getting married officially for the first time ever,” she said.

Bakare, who has been married twice before, explained that despite her past experiences, she still believes in marriage and is open to trying again.

Her first marriage was to US-based businessman Olumide Okufulure, with whom she shares a daughter. She later married Alhaji Mutairu Atanda Orilowo in 2012, and the union produced two sons. However, the relationship ended after Orilowo was declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in 2014 over alleged fraud-related issues.

In an earlier appearance on the Real Life With Aunty Ayo podcast, Bakare had openly stated that she is willing to marry multiple times if previous relationships do not work out.

Her latest announcement has since sparked conversations among fans and followers, many of whom are curious about her next chapter.
