Death of APC Chieftain Yesuru Karamo Halts Inauguration of Lagos Executives

The newly elected Assistant Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State chapter, Yesuru Karamo, has died.
Karamo’s death has thrown the party into mourning and disrupted preparations for the inauguration of the newly elected state executive committee.
Confirming the development, the Lagos State Chairman of the party, Cornelius Ojelabi, led a delegation of state party executives on a condolence visit to the deceased’s family in Ibeju-Lekki on Thursday evening.
Party sources said the late Karamo was a respected grassroots politician who previously served as chairman of the APC in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area.
His death has also forced the party to suspend arrangements for the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected executive committee in the state.
