I Would Have Been an Accountant or Mathematics Teacher – Tems Reveals

Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has revealed the profession she would have pursued if she was not in the music industry.
During an interactive session with fans on X on Tuesday, Tems disclosed that she would have been an accountant or a mathematics teacher if she was not a musician.
A fan asked her what she would be doing today if music had not worked for her.
Tems responded that she might have been an accountant or a mathematics teacher.
The multiple Grammy winning singer had earlier revealed that she resigned from her job as a digital marketer in January 2018 to focus fully on her music career.
She released her debut single titled Mr Rebel in July 2018. The song gained some traction in Nigeria. She, however, rose to prominence after being featured on Wizkid’s 2020 single Essence, which peaked at number 9 on the Billboard Hot One Hundred chart after the remix featuring Justin Bieber was released.
