Youths, Party Leaders Commend Outgoing Chairman Of Odi-Olowo LCDA

Residents in Odi-Olowo Local Council Development Area, LCDA, have eulogized the outgoing chairman in the community, Razak Ajala, as he nears completion of a second term administration in office.
Ajala, who contested and won under the flagship of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was said to have contributed immensely to the developments in the community leaving footprints to subsequent politicians who will attain the Chairmanship position not just in the area but Lagos at large.
Residents in the Odi-Olowo stated that the politician provided dividends of democracy and empowered youths for successful future.
During a get-together parley held on Thursday at the Radisson Hotel in Ilupeju to celebrate Ajala’s feat, the respondents noted that the Chairman, whose administration ends on July 30, provided people-oriented programs and initiatives, including donations to teachers and police officers including recognized efforts in education development.
The attendees during the event attended by well-wishers and political big wigs disclosed that the eight-year tenure has also recorded commissioning of ICT centers for schools alongside distributing of chairs, tables, and financial support.
In addition, Ajala was also said to have facilitated an annual program for school boys on international training to further develop in their academics.
In addition, the council boss gave grants to public schools for their annual inter-house sports competition alongside the infrastructure.
The residents reminsed that during festive seasons, the chairman ensured subsidized prices for rams alongside distributing food items and other things.

Ogunlende stated that the communitys Chairman’s Cup which has expanded the scope of the tournament to Lagos State and neighboring states is a testament that the council boss remains keen in more positive measures for the community’s residents.
The current Vice Chairman, Seyi Jakande, who has been tipped to succeed Ajala, pledged to sustain the legacy held by the outgoing chairman.
“As a strong advocate for continuity in governance, we will definitely sustain all the present programs of this administration.”
