The Lagos Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, has reckoned that one person has died while five persons are injured as a result of a mosque which collapsed at Mushin Lagos on Sunday.
Permanent Secretary, LASEMA, Femi Oke-Osanyitolu, revealed that the mosque on Yusuf Street, along Ladipo Road, collapsed while prayer was ongoing.
Oke-Osanyitolu said that under his supervision, a search and rescue operations took place. He listed emergency responders at the scene to include the LASEMA Response Team, the police, the Lagos State Ambulance Service and the Lagos State Fire Service.
