Orelope Donates To Sports, Revamps Mini-Stadium

Former Lagos Deputy Governor and Current Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu has revamped Pako Stadium in Alimosho Local Government.

Echo News correspondent gathered that the stadium is an aged long open space meant for recreation and just a mere field for sports lovers prior to now until the SSA gave it a facelift.

The stadium which is located at the back of the Alimosho Local Government secretariat is known to be a relaxation sport for many youth and sports lovers on daily basis.

Taking into possible dangers of sitting on the wall fence during soccer matches, playing on a football pitch of sand and inability where football supporters and spectators could hid during rain or sunny atmosphere to serve as shades, possibly yielded the innovation.

The new soccer pitch now has a synthetic grass, as well as basket court for basketball lover.

Speaking to our correspondent , Olumuyiwa a resident in Alimosho community stated that the new facelift if the stadium will help in discovering of talents in the community and I also want to use the opportunity to thank H.E for using her prestigious office to help in repositioning the pitch.
