Nigeria ex International, Victor Ikpeba has backed Remo Stars to shame all odds and pull up great performances in the CAF Champions League.
The Sky Blue Stars tasted continental action last season but were eliminated in the first round amidst series of missed chances in the return leg at the Remo Stars stadium, Ikenne.
Ikpeba is confident Remo Stars have the potential and squad quality to do well at the CAF Champions League this season as he believes the player quality was visible at the NPL Super Six playoffs in Lagos.
“Remo Stars have continued to show the world the quality they have in the team,” quoted by Daily Post.
“I’m tipping them to do well in the CAF Champions League next season.
“The world can see the quality they had last season, especially in the Super Six playoffs in Lagos.”
The Sky Blue Stars picked up one of the CAF Champions League ticket after finishing second in the NPL.
