Residents commend Bamigboye over free medical outreach

The residents of Mushin Local Government Area have commended their council chairman, Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye for organizing a  free medical outreach, especially for the elderly ones.

Bamigboye said the medical outreach was important to allow residents to know their state of health and to also provide drugs for them.

He added that it will be a continuous exercise till the end of his tenure as he values the health of the residents of Mushin.

The medical services offered included Health Education & Counselling, Blood Pressure Checks and Glasses, HIV Screening, COVID-19 Vaccination, Medical Consultation, Family Planning, and provision of Essential Drugs.

Members of the community who attended the medical mission went through various screenings to know their health status.

Those with visual deficiencies were given free eyeglasses and medications were administered to patients after the consultation.

The entire medical team of Mushin Local Government is led by the Head of Department and Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Kayode Odufuwa, with the Supervisor for Health – Hon. Femi Nuga, and all the various heads of units in the Primary Health Services of the council, were all in attendance, to treat patients at Taniwomo Street location of the exercise.
