Kosofe produces first female rep

For the first tine, Kosofe constituency produced the first female member of Federal House of Assembly, Hon. Kafilat Ogbara under tbe platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ogbara scored 45,111 votes to beat her close opposition from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Florence Adepegba, who pulled 28,964 votes.
When she was declared the winner by the returning officer on Monday, Ogbara expressed highest level of joy over her victory.
She appreciated the people of the constituency, promising better representation to her people.
