For fixing 12 roads within his 100 days in office, the former Lagos State Commissioner for I formation and Strategy, Hon. Kehinde Bamigbetan, has commended the executive chairman of Isolo LCDA, Otunba Adebayo Olasoju.

Olasoju commissioned the projects to commemorate his 100 Days ceremony.

Apart from the road construction, the council chairman said he has also organised a free healthcare service for the elderly ones in the community where they can be treated and given drugs for various non-communicable diseases on monthly basis; distributed over 200 GCE forms to the indigent students in the council area; procured buses to improve the revenue drive of the council; embarked on reconstruction of an administrative block in the council secretariat to expand the workspace for maximum performance.

Commenting on the projects especially the road infrastructure, Bamigbetan said fixing roads has multiplier socio-economic and political impact on the residents.

“As a former LCDA chairman, I know that fixing roads has multiplier socio-economic and political impact on the polity. I was not surprised that he softened the boil where it pained the people most. But why I believe he deserves to be commended is the fact that he achieved the objectives without controversy. It was like a stroll in the park,” he said.
