Shammeh re-presents 2021 Appropriation Bill

As one of the directives given to the leadership of Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) by the State House of Assembly, the chairman of the council, Hon. Shamsudeen Olaleye, has, today, Friday, April 9, 2021, re-presented the 2021 budget proposal.

The presentation was ceremoniously done before all the seven councillors as against the three that received it earlier.

During the event, the motion for the presentation was moved and seconded by the Majority Leader and Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Idris Agbabiaka and Hon. Abisodun Odusina-Adeoye respectively.

The Budget is the exact N2.390billion figure that was earlier presented on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

Recall that during the previous presentation, the council leader, Hon. Remy Shittu Remy, the Majority Leader, Hon. Idris Agbabiaka and the councillor representing Ajao Estate Ward, Hon. Chidiebiere Iheasirim, were tge only councillors presented while two out of the other four were in suspension; the deputy leader, Hon. Akeem Ayoola Adeyemi, the Chief Whip, Hon. Olanrewaju Kayode and the other two, Hon. Abisodun Odusina-Adeoye and Hon. Kanayo Osondu were absent.

Also in attendance at today’s presentation were the management staff of the council, the executive members of Community Development Committee (CDC) and other stakeholders.

Meanwhile, the vice chairman, Hon. Bayo Olasoju, was conspicuously absent. The reason for his absence is yet to be ascertained by ECHONEWS.
