2Baba to Perform at Former Partner Pero’s Nightclub

Music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, is set to perform at Lasolas Night Club, owned by his former partner, Pero Adeniyi, and her husband, Ochuko Agofure.
The singer made the announcement in a video shared on Pero’s Instagram page, inviting fans and nightlife lovers to join him at the Lagos nightclub on November 13.
Lasolas Night Club, located in Ipaja, Lagos, was opened on December 23, 2024, and is managed by Pero and her husband.
In the video, 2Baba appeared alongside his daughter with Pero, Ehikowoicho, as he called on fans to turn up for the event.
“As you already know, you know what? 13 November at Lasolas Night Club, everybody come out and let’s enjoy ourselves. No shaking, let’s be free,” he said.
Pero described the planned performance as a night of timeless music, beautiful memories and unforgettable moments. She also reflected on how life can take people through different chapters before bringing unexpected moments their way.
“Some things in life you cannot script. Life really does come full circle. Different chapters. New beginnings. Timeless music,” she wrote.
The announcement has attracted attention because of the history between the singer and Pero, whose relationship became public knowledge in 2005. They have three children together: Ehikowoicho, Justin and Innocent Idibia Jnr.
2Baba later married actress Annie Macaulay in Dubai in 2012. Their marriage has since ended in separation.
His forthcoming appearance at a nightclub owned by Pero and her husband is an interesting development, bringing together different chapters of the singer’s personal life in a public entertainment setting.
For fans, however, the main attraction will be the opportunity to enjoy a live performance from one of Nigeria’s most celebrated music stars.
