The chairman of Isolo LCDA,, has described his counterpart in Ejigbo LCDA, Hon. Monsurudeen Bello (Obe) as a strong politician who could handle shock at a time of sorrow.

He said this while commiserating with Obe on the death of his mother, saying he deserves to be commended for not allowing his sorrow to jeopardise the success of his party at the poll, losing his mother while others were celebrating theirs alive on World Mother’s Day.

Obe would have been demoralised as his mother died early on the gubernatorial/state house of assembly Election Day, however, he forged ahead to delivered his council area for his party despite his challenge.

Olasoju said: “Sincerely speaking Hon. Oloyede Bello deserves a pat on his back for dealing with his mother’s death simultaneously with the rigours of a must-win election just as it is more intimidating to irreparably commit one’s mother to mother-earth on a day set aside to celebrate mothers internationally.

“My heart goes out to my dear brother and colleague, Hon.  Monsuru Oloyede Bello (Obe) on the loss of his mother. It is an incontrovertible fact that no matter how old one’s parents get, losing them is never prayed for.”

While praying for the repose of the deceased, Olasoju urged Bello to rather take consolation in the exemplary life his late mother led.

“The thought and prayers of my family and the good people of Isolo LCDA are with you at this time,” he said.
