[Video] Kendoo denies assaulting Elder Wale Ariyibi, Hon. Osha, demand retraction of allegatory video

The Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo LG, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede (Kendoo) has denied the allegation levied against him by Elder Wale Ariyibi, the former Lagos State APC Auditor, and Hon. Isreal Akiode (Osha), accusing him or assaulting them.
The duo have alleged that they were being assaulted by the council chairman and the Lagos State Chairman of the National Union of Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musiliu MC Oluomo over the emergence of Mr. Wale Adelana as the APC Oshodi-Isolo LG Chairman.
During the LG congress,Hon. Saheed Animashaun was elected the LG Chairman, however, Mr. Wale Adelana was surprisingly announced as the new chairman on Saturday after the APC state congress.
The turn of events caused chaos in Oshodi as the supporters of Animashaun staged protest to the local government, challenging the local government chairman to intervene.
Meanwhile, Elder Wale Ariyibi and Hon. Isreal Akiode (Osha) released a video on Saturday, alleging that Otunba Oloyede and MC Oluomo physically assaulted them over the issue.
While Elder Ariyibi accused Oloyede of punching him and tearing his clothes, Hon. Akiode said Oloyede’s aides were ordered to beat him up.
Responding to the video, the council chairman warned the duo to retract the video which he termed as defamatory within 48 hours.
He claimed that he and Alhaji Akinsanya did not see any of the two people accusing them let alone beating or ordering their aides to assault them.
In a statement released on Sunday titled “DEMAND FOR RETRACTION”, Oloyede said the video is nothing more than a politically-motivated effort to smear his name, reputation and raising profile.

Dear Mr Wale Ariyibi and Hon. Isreal Akiode,
“I write in response to the slanderous and defamatory video you both made on 16th Oct, 2021 alleging that I personally attacked you. The video was later released online with caption “Kendoo and Mc-Oluomo Unleashed Attack on Elder Wale Ariyibi and Osha at APC State Congress.
The video was reckless, full of falsehood, defamatory and constitute slander per se against my person and my reputation. You alleged that I personally punched you while Hon. Akiode claimed I ordered my aides to beat him blue-black. You both lied against me and made a video to that effect saying myself and Alh. Musiliu Akinsanya (Mc-Oluomo) threatened your lives. I am putting it to you that throughout the duration of the program, I never set my eyes on either of you, which makes me to wonder where, when and how I personally punched you and also directed my aides to beat you up. Your video is nothing more than a politically-motivated efforts to smear my name, reputation and raising profile. You both know it deep down that your claims are false and defamatory.
I hereby demand that within 24hours you both retract this statement and tender apology to me, using the same medium of video-clip you earlier used. Failure to do so will leave me with no other option than to institute a legal action and demand for #100,000,000( one hundred million naira) as damages because since the video went viral, people have been calling me to enquire about your falsehood.
I await your retraction within 24hours.
