Veteran Actor Opebe Battles Prolonged Illness, Appeals for Public Support

Veteran Nollywood actor Yomi King, popularly known as Opebe, has appealed to Nigerians for support after revealing that he has been battling an illness for more than a year.

The actor disclosed that despite visiting different hospitals for treatment, his health condition has continued to deteriorate.

During the difficult period, Yomi King expressed appreciation to fellow actor and filmmaker, Mr Latin, for checking on him and offering his support.

Another Nollywood actor, Kunle Afod, also visited the veteran actor and donated N100,000 to assist with his needs.

Following the visit, Afod appealed to Nigerians to support Yomi King through prayers, financial assistance and medical care.

The appeal has drawn attention to the veteran actor’s condition, with calls for well-meaning Nigerians, fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry to rally around him.
