Street sweepers urge residents to ignore cart pushers

The Coordinator of Street Sweepers, Oshodi-Isolo LG chapter, Mrs. Ore-Ofe Tijani has urged residents against patronising cart pushers to save the environment from avoidable plague.

According to her, the growing trend of environmental decay in some parts of the local government area is caused by cart pushers who dump refuse indiscriminately in the community.

Tijani emphasised that despite series of cautions, people still patronise cart pushers.

As an advocate of cleaner environment, she appealed to concerned residents to always bag their wastes properly and give them to authorised PSP operators in their communities.

She commended the PSS operators in the local government area for proper waste management.
