Sanwo-Olu Extols Alake’s Virtues
Lagos State governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has described the Minister of Solid Minerals, Mr. Dele Alake as a man the country can rely on at this critical moment.
He said that the ministry of solid minerals will witness a huge transformation under Alake because the minister has got what it takes to turn things around in the solid minerals sector of the economy.
Alake was a former Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy during the administration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as governor.
Speaking at a gathering to celebrate Alake’s new appointment, the governor said that the minister was a down to earth personality who had never undermined the opportunities and privileges he had got.
Sanwo-Olu recalled how Alake flew in from abroad at a critical moment of his election as Lagos governor to strategically stabilise the situation that delivered the victory to him and the All Progressives Congress.W

The governor said, “Alake is my egbon. He has not stopped from being who he is and we want to thank God for that. He is a man that can take a bullet for someone and can stand with the person in the thick and thin. He is a man that can be relied on and I want to thank God for his life and for also believing so much in me. I thank you for showing love to me.’
Sanwo-Olu went ahead to commend the wife of the minister, Mrs. Sunmbo Alake whom he described as a prayer warrior that had been the pillar of success behind the husband.
He prayed for the coming success the new office of the minister would bring for the country in a short time to come.
