Sanwo-Olu delivers ‘Ounje Eko’ food packs to Water Corporation to lessening economic hardship*

Amid the economic hardship in the county, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu today 20th May, 2024 delivered ‘Ounje Eko’ Foodpacks to Lagos Water Corporation to cushioning the effect of the high cost of living and lessening the economic hardship being experienced nationwide.

This was made known today Monday 20th May, 2024 at the LWC Headquarters Water-House, Ijora, Lagos.

In his statement, the Corporation’s Managing Director, Engr. Mukhtaar Temitope Tijani said the ‘Ounje Eko’ initiative was aimed at cushioning the effect of the high cost of living in the State, as earlier announced by the Governor.

While appreciating the State Governor, Engr. Tijani lauded the State Governor’s efforts, describing the initiative as remarkable and significant achievement in the history of the State, towards cushioning the effect of the present situation.

The delivery was made through the State Ministry of Agriculture, led by the Commissioner, Ms. Abiola Olusanya, ably represented by Mrs. Ajose Ranti and Mr. Olalude Folarin of Lagos State, Ministry of Agriculture, and received by the LWC, Head, Human Resources Management, Mrs. Mobolaji Ogunnaike at the Water-House, Ijora, Lagos.

However, eulogizes has began to pour in for the LWC boss for exemplary leadership and commitment to staff welfare, particularly, at this time of economic hardship, as more succour continues to come to the Corporation, displaying exemplary leadership and commitment to staff welfare.
