Road infrastructure tops Olasoju’s projects to commemorate ‘100 Days’ in office

No fewer than 10 projects have been earmarked for commissioning by the executive chairman of Isolo LCDA, Otunba Adebayo Olasoju to commemorate his 100 Days in office.

Though, last week Wednesday, November 3, marked his 100 days in office like his counterparts in the other local council areas across Lagos State, Olasoju has fixed the celebration on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

Road infrastructure tops the projects to be commissioned by the council boss.

The roads slated to be commissioned include Mureni, Shonibare, Olusola Faronbi, Aderinto, Ashiriabo Link, Lamina Lawal, Shodehinde, Ehingbeti, Kogberegbe Holy Saviour, Ogundele Way among others.

While the majority of the roads have been completed and ready for commissioning, works are said to be at advanced levels on the others for prompt completion.

Asides road infrastructure, ECHONEWS gathered that other projects lined up to commemorate the celebration include presentation of bursary award to indigent students of the council.

Within his 100 days in office, Olasoju said he has organised a free medical programme for over 1000 elders in the council, which he promised would be done monthly and distribution of 200 GCE forms to students in the council area.

The council boss explained that he is determined to make the council area first among others in the state hence, the mantra ‘Towards the Isolo of our Dream’.
