Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has questioned social media activist VeryDarkMan over Burna Boy’s reported N200 million donation for a school project, demanding to know how the money was spent.

Portable raised the questions in a video in which he criticised the activist over paintings on a wall at the project site, asking why he featured footballer Adebayo instead of Burna Boy, whom he said provided the funds.

“Burna Boy give you money, wetin you use am do? NGO money, where the money dey?” the singer asked.

Portable also questioned why VeryDarkMan painted his own portrait, arguing that the project was reportedly funded by someone else.

The singer further alleged that the activist had received more than N200 million from Burna Boy to build a school but questioned whether the money was being used for its stated purpose.

“You are fighting for your pocket. Burna Boy give you N200 million plus, make you build school, you go build Ashewo house,” Portable said.

However, the allegations made in the video were not independently verified in the information available, and the remarks do not establish that the donation was misused.

The comments have brought renewed attention to the reported donation and the school project, with questions about the use of the funds forming the centre of Portable’s criticism.
