Poco Lee’s UK Trial Scheduled for March 2027

Nigerian dancer and entertainer, Poco Lee, is expected to appear before a court in the United Kingdom for a plea hearing on February 8, 2027, with his trial scheduled to begin on March 8, 2027.

Benjamin Kuti, popularly known as Oluomo of Derby, disclosed the latest dates after attending court proceedings on Tuesday.

Kuti said he was in court in connection with the case involving the Nigerian entertainer.

“I was in court today, as I mentioned in my last tweet, regarding the case involving one of our Nigerian brothers, Poco Lee,” Kuti said.

He said the plea hearing had been fixed for February 8, 2027, while the trial is expected to commence on March 8.

The development follows an earlier update by Kuti on August 24, when he disclosed that Poco Lee was being held on remand in a UK prison and was expected to appear in court in September for a plea hearing.

Kuti, while providing the latest update, urged members of the public to allow the legal process to take its course and avoid reaching conclusions based on allegations or information circulating publicly.

He stressed the principle that an accused person remains innocent until proven guilty by a court.
