Pay up your tax, Bello charges Ejigbo residents

For more projects to be enjoyed by residents of Ejigbo, there must be a regular payment of tax, the Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Monsuru Bello, has disclosed.

Bello, made that appeal at a forum with a section of Community Development Association (CDA), stating that it is the right of the residents in the area to enjoy social amenities, and that such could only be realised when tax payment is prompt.

The Chairman disclosed that all that has been achieved since the inception of his administration was a proof that more could be put in place if residents pay their taxes for revenue to the council government.

He charged the CDA representatives to sensitize people in their areas on the need to assist the government with their tax payment.

He said that the council would continue to state government support on achieving his administration’s goals.

He also told the attendees that the revenue officers have been trained on making tax payment relatively easy for all.
