A new NNPCL Tank Farm in Lagos, Nigeria, previously known as OVH, caught fire on Friday, May 17, causing chaos in the area.

The fire broke out around 11 am, prompting people to scramble to contain the blaze before the arrival of rescue teams. By 1 pm, the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service and LASEMA were still working to extinguish the fire.

The incident was said to have been caused by a spill of petroleum products within the terminal boundaries.
