Oshodi LG Completes Afariogun Road

The bad sections of Afariogun Road have been fully rehabilitated by Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, the chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, in an effort to guarantee ongoing infrastructural development and provide good roads for the population.

Situated in the Afariogun ward of the local government, Afariogun Road is a frequently traveled route that connects Oshodi Road and the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway.

Traffic jams on the always congested route are a result of poorly maintained sections that drivers and commuters attempt to avoid.

To solve this problem, the chairman, immediately mobilise the council engineers to fix the portions which have been completed now.

When the council’s works crew was seen working on the road, the locals could not contain their delight and gladness and expressed that they were relieved. The happy locals and drivers showered the chairman with prayers in gratitude for his roadside rescue.

One of the motorists, Mr Ismail Akanbi, said; “I am very happy seeing that our chairman is working on this part of the road. This bad portion of the road is always causing traffic, particularly when it rains. It always cause traffic logjam because everyone is trying to avoid the portion. I pray to God to continue to strengthen the chairman and bless him.”

Other members of the Afariogun community also showered encomiums on the workaholic chairman while praying to God to bless him immensely.
