…Promises More Developmental Projects

The Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede has promised the residents of more developmental projects and programmes before the end of the year in line with the manifesto of his administration.

The council chairman’s plans for continuous projects were made known on Sunday while appearing on a popular Yoruba radio programme tagged “Lagbegbewa” on Bond FM, Lagos State.

The programme allowed the chairman to reel out the projects executed so far and his plans for the local government.

According to him, efforts are ongoing to have mega empowerment for the residents of the local government who had received training from the UNDP centre of the local government.

He equally disclosed that many more road projects will also be embarked upon before the end of the year.

The council boss further revealed that the ongoing road projects within the local government area will be completed in record time and that plans are ongoing to have the second palliative programme to cushion the effect of subsidy removal.

He stated that the second batch of the palliative distribution will focus on the elderly and people living with disabilities.

He said: “I want to appreciate the support of our people. I want to promise them that in addition to the 23 completed roads within the local government, the 3 ongoing projects of Banjoko and Omilade will be completed in record time.

“Also, before the end of the year, we shall be rolling out projects that will include road construction, mega empowerment, and many others. We are currently planning on the second batch of the palliative distribution which will focus more on the elderly and people living with disabilities.”

Oloyede further implored the people to keep faith with the Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu-led administrations at the federal and state levels, noting that the current economic situation is a pathway to a prosperous Nigeria.
