Oshodi-Isolo Council Chairman Assures Residents of Evenly Distributed Projects

The Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has assured residents of the Council of even distribution of infrastructural projects across the local government.
Otunba Oloyede gave these words of assurance when he played a host to the member representing Oshodi-Isolo constituency I at the Lagos state house of assembly, Otunba Stephen Ogundipe who paid him a courtesy visit and also perform oversight function by visiting the roads projects.
The lawmaker, after the tour of the roads, appreciated the council boss for his unending infrastructural strides within the local government.
Also a delegation which comprises of community elders and religion leaders within the council area headed by Alh. Mustapha Nojeem, who also visited the council chairman noted that their visit to the council boss became expedient owning to the enormous road projects he has embarked upon and completed since assumption of office and how he has given the local government a total facelift and made the road network within the market areas seamless and accessible.
They urged him to continue putting the people first and that people are seeing, appreciating his works and they are solidly behind him.
Otunba Oloyede in turn appreciated the lawmaker and the delegation for their visit and disclosed that their visit is a morale booster to him, noting that he is determined to give back to the people through people oriented projects because of the pact he had with them while campaigning.
The council Chairman assured that other areas within the local government will equally enjoy road projects. He disclosed that some roads have been identified at Shogunle, Mafoluku, Afariogun, Ewutuntun and the Ogunoloko wards of the local government for reconstruction and rehabilitation.
Otunba Oloyede implored the residents of these areas to exercise little patience as they will soon see contractors moving to their respective areas this year.
He said; “I firstly want to appreciate you all for this courtesy visit. Your words really get to me and it really spurs us to do more. I have also informed our LAHA, Otunba Ogundipe, when he visited few days ago that we will touch other places.
Our people in other areas of the local government like Shogunle, Mafoluku, Afariogun, Ewu and Ogunoloko will soon see us in their areas. We have penned some roads across the local government and I can assure our people of even distribution of infrastructures to all the wards within the council this year 2024.”
