Ologudu of Ogudu congratulates Sanwo-Olu in advance

The Ologudu of Ogudu, Oba Najim Akinwumin, has congratulated Givernor Babajide Sanwi-Olu in advance as he expressed assurance of his victory at poll.

While speaking with ECHONEWS, the monarch said he was sure that Sanwo-Olu would be announced winner of the 2023 Lagos governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He said the traditional rulers in Lagos are solidly behind the governor for his re-election due to his achievements in government.

According to the monarch, the traditional, Sanwo-Olu has done greatly to deserve a second term, saying Lagosians are much interested in continuity.

He noted that many people voted for APC during the last Saturday election, and that he was optimistic of the party’s success hence, the celebration commenced immediately.

“APC is doing fantastically and has good structure. Anybody the party present will surely deliver well and that is why we will continue to vote for any candidate of the party especially in Lagos State.

“I am expecting the result in favor of our governor. In fact, he deserves it. I am sure he has won. APC in Lagos is the party to recon with, no any other party can do it better. We are only expecting more from the party in the state. I am happy that the election was very peaceful, Ogudu was peaceful as well as the whole state. There was an improvement in the conduct of the election this time around.”

Meanwhile, the monarch also charges the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be proactive and make sure the youths are well represented in his government.

Oba Fashola, who expressed confidence in Tinubu said there would a change for development once the present-elect assume office.
