The maiden edition of the Lanre Ogunremi Memorial Cup saw Okuribido FC emerge champions after defeating Ronke FC in the final via penalty shootout.
The tournament was organized by certified coach and former professional player, Coach Knolly Knight to honor the late Lanre Ogunremi who was a sport philanthropist during his life time.
The best player of the tournament is Yemi Nancy who was very influential in the tournament with his fantastic display of skills and technical ability.
Speaking to ECHONEWS, the organizer of the tournament, Coach Knolly Knight said the aim for organizing the tournament is to give back to the society in his own little way.
Free jerseys, cash prize, medals and trophies were handed over to the players courtesy of Knolly sport station.
