Ilasamaja Youth Football Tournament’s to spread love in the community – Muritala Bankole

The Ilasamaja Youth Football Tournament is in it 11th edition where it’s used to celebrate and foster unity among the youths of Ilasamaja, Isolo, Lagos.
The tournament which kicked off on the 6th of November is schedule to end on the 18th of December 2022.
Ajumoni Grammar School have been the host venue for matches of the tournament.
Speaking to ECHONEWS, the President of Ilasamaja Youth, Muritala Bankole popularly known as Muab Chemical said the purpose and aim of the tournament is to foster unity among the residents of Ilasamaja and to engage the youths productively.
“The reason for the Ilasamaja Youth Football Tournament is to engage the youths productively, have the best of fun using football and to also unite the youths in Ilasa.
“This tournament have been on for over 11 years and it’s only unity and cooperation that has kept us together for this long.
“The tournament is also used to bring together the youths of Ilasa that are scattered all over the country and play with each other in different clubs where a winner will emerge.”
The Ilasamaja Youth Football Tournament have reached the semifinal stage.
