Fast rising women’s football club, Bravehearts Ladies have officially launched their new jerseys ahead of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Nationwide season.
The scintillating jerseys came in fantastic purple colors with white stripes, which made it a beauty to behold.
The Evoca Foundation led by international philanthropist, Naza Alakija sponsored the launching of the jerseys, which was done at the Astro turf pitch of the University of Benin (Uniben) Sport complex on Saturday, December 2nd amidst funfair and excitement among players.
Speaking to ECHONEWS exclusively, the captain of Bravehearts Ladies, Stephanie Ize-Iyamu said the players are overwhelmed by the show of love from Evoca Foundation for the jerseys as she believes the jerseys are of international standard.
She revealed the players are inspired to have a great season because they’re more prepared, physically, and mentally to win titles for the club this season.
“I feel overwhelmed. I’m glad for the girls and also happy for this opportunity. The jersey colors were specifically designed to reflect the colors of the sponsors. Its of international standard and they look beautiful. I and my teammates are overjoyed,” she said.
“This season is going to be different from every other season because we have prepared ourselves physically, mentally and otherwise. We are now more open minded in learning new things on and off the pitch. Our focus this season will be on chasing for titles but never neglecting player development and education which is the cornerstone of the Bravehearts Ladies vision.”
Bravehearts Ladies have established their selfs as a structured club that prioritize players welfare and educational progress as they surge ahead in their career.
