Obe Felicitates With Christians On Easter

The chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Alhaji Mosurudeen Bello Obe has felicitated with the Christians in the council area on the occasion of the Easter celebration.

In his message, the council boss enjoyed the Christians and other residents to live in love for the peace and progress of the society.

He said: “Easter is a Christian holiday set aside to commemorate and celebrate the death (crucification) and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which engendered the Good Friday, Esther Sunday (Palm Sunday) and Esther Monday respectively.

“The significance of these days is the atonement for our sins and wrongdoings and however call for sober reflection, love and unity amongst all the living human inhabitants of the earth.

“As we celebrate, may God Almighty hear our prayers; have pity on us and turn our mourning into feasting, that we may live to sing praises to His Name, Lord.

“I wish you happy Easter celebration!”
