Obe Embarks On Construction Of Orilowo Link Bridge

The chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Alhaji Monsuru Bello Obe has commenced the construction of a link mini bridge along Achievers Baptist Church Street, Orilowo, Ejigbo.

A statement from Public Affairs Unit/ Office of the S.A Information and Strategy said the project is currently ongoing.

“For over five years, the area had been in a very terrible state, as vehicles including tricycles, have not been able to use the route due to the state. This route, unfortunately, leads to about three to four other communities. To worsen it, the drainage system, which is even a collector drainage for Ifoshi Community, had also been far below standard, hence constantly causing massive flood from time to time.

“The ongoing construction of the link bridge, which started earlier this month, includes the construction of the major hydraulic structure and the adjoining drainage.

“The project which is being supervised by the Local Council’s Works and Infrastructure Department, has been contracted to the Triple Homie Global Nigeria Limited,” the statement read.
