NYCN council solicits financial aids for the poor

The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ibeju-Lekki chapter has appealed to the residents to support the poor in the community.

They also sought palliatives for the pupils to give educational opportunities to the less privileged.

The coordinator, Mr. Rotimi Fatai, in a statement, said that the body has outlined a proposed project tagged “NYCN Hand of Hope” where educational materials would be distributed to pupils.

He noted that specifically, they plan to buy a uniform set for the less privileged pupils in Ibeju-Lekki Primary schools to outshine themselves in a new outfit.

He said that the outfit is meant to build confidence in them as they continue to venture into educational realms.

He urged philanthropists in the area and beyond to reach out to the Council for the realization of the project.
