Nkechi Blessing, Phyna Set for Celebrity Boxing Match After Social Media Clash

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing and former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna are set to face each other in a celebrity boxing match following their recent social media clash.

The bout is scheduled for October 1, 2026, at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos State.

Event organisers, Balmoral, announced the match in an Instagram post on Friday evening, hours after the two celebrities exchanged words on social media.

Sharing the event poster, the organisers wrote, “Plot twist? Let’s see what the women can do. Phyna VS Nkechi.

“The rivalry is real. Now, let’s see who backs it up when the bell rings.”

The announcement comes amid a recent public disagreement between the actress and the reality TV star, which attracted reactions from their followers online.

The celebrity boxing event is expected to bring the two entertainers face-to-face in the ring as part of Balmoral’s entertainment boxing programme.
