Man arraigned for allegedly removing lady’s teeth with blow

One Kelechi Peter, who claimed to have been assaulted by a lady, Uche Obidigbo, has reportedly knocked off her teeth during a public fight.
The incident happened at White Sand area of Isheri Oshun Lagos, where they reside.
It was gathered that Peter vented his anger on Uche, who he claimed gave him a public assault, he then attacked and knocked off her teeth.
The issue was reported at Isheri Oshun Police Division and Peter was subsequently arrested.
After interrogation, the Police found him culpable and later charged him before Ejigbo Magistrates Court for assault which attracts severe punishment if he is tried and found guilty by the Court.
The Police alleged that Peter attacked Uche and inflicted injury on her by removing her teeth.
At the court, the accused pleaded not guilty while the prosecutor, Supol Kenneth Asibor, asked the Court to give date for hearing to enable the Police to prove that he committed the alleged offend.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Teslim Shomade, granted Peter bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
He would be remanded in prison custody pending when he would perfect his bail conditions while the matter was adjourned till March 18, 2020.
