LSFCA seals MOU with Berackiah International

The Lagos State Football Coaches Association (LSFCA) have sealed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Berackiah International to lecture grassroots coaches and provide certificate for them.

Reacting to the development, the CEO of Berackiah International, Nwigwe Nduka described the partnership with LSFCA as a wonderful one as he admitted that Lagos is a precious city that is rich in football history.

Nduka added that the leadership style in Lagos endeared him to the center of excellence and added that, education is important and the coaches in the street need to have the basic knowledge of their profession.

“Lagos State is a precious city for me and I feel football has an history in Lagos. At least five players from our national team have a connected history with Lagos.

“I love the leadership of Lagos State when it comes to sport development, at the just concluded national sport festival, we can see the results of Lagos participation in it and there’s this encouragement from the governor of Lagos State to develop sport in the state and the support from the sport commission will make Lagos the center of excellence in football.

“Education is very important, knowledge is power. What ever profession you are doing, you need to have basic knowledge of it.

“There are lot of coaches in the streets, you will see that they have access to 20 young boys training them without the knowledge of the game, with this coaching clinic coming to Lagos State we will be able to enhance this potentials from all the local governments and educate them to go back and put in the right knowledge in the heart of this boys on how to play football. Football use to be a recreational game when growing up but now, football is business.”
