LASUSTECH holds first matriculation ceremony

The newly created Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) will on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, matriculate its 1,850 pioneer students admitted into its 37 approved programmes.

The school management in a memo said the Matriculation Ceremony will hold as scheduled.

“Therefore, all newly admitted students should ensure that apart from completing their registration before the date, they must also pay all fees fully before the Matriculation Ceremony to retain their studentship.

“Candidates admitted into the Lagos State University of Science and Technology already approved by JAMB and currently on JAMB CAPS but yet to accept the Offer of Admission should kindly visit the JAMB portal to accept the provisional admission.

“Thereafter, they are to report to the University to complete their registration on or before Friday, 24th March, 2023 as Matriculation Ceremony for the 2022/2023 Academic Session is scheduled for Wednesday, 29th March, 2023,” the memo read.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olumuyiwa Odusanya, explained that the university received its Certificate of Operating License from the National Universities Commission on February 8, 2022.

He added that it has NUC approval to commence 37 academic programmes in five Colleges including the College of Agriculture, College of Engineering Technology, College of Environmental Design and Technology, College of Basic Sciences, and College of Applied Social Sciences.
