Lagos TCN Commissions 60MVA Power Transformer In Ajah

The Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, Lagos region, has commissioned a new power transformer at transmission substation in Ajah.

The 60/66 MVA 132/33KV transformer was commissioned on Wednesday.

TCN stated that the 1×60/66 MVA power transformer will increase the capacity of the substation from 223MVA to 289MVA, thus, providing more bulk power available for Eko Electricity Distribution Company.

The power company stated that customers  in Ajah, Victoria Garden City, Lekki, Eleko, and Elemoro and other surrounding estates will now have an improved electricity supply in their areas.
