The programme provides financing to both micro-enterprises and small and medium-sized businesses, with loan amounts determined by the category of business and its eligibility.

Unlike conventional commercial loans, the LSETF scheme offers relatively affordable financing, with an official programme interest rate of 9% per annum for its SME loan category.
