The Executive Secretary of the agency, Titilola Viviour-Adeniji, during the induction ceremony held at the Lagosresidence of the British Deputy High Commissioner, Jonny Baxter, stated that the initiative also aims at improving the social framework within educational institutions in the state.

The newly enlisted boys were put through a six-week training programme on critical topics such as gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health, anger management, legal perspectives, and the importance of grit, resilience, and tenacity.

A panel session of the trainees provided invaluable insights into issues surrounding SGBV and strategies for promoting positive masculinity.

The High Commissioner lauded the initiative and urged for more educational measures to further ignite educational reforms.

He admonished the inductees to key into the teachings during the training and continue to develop themselves educationally.

The recruits were certified after the training. They pledged their allegiance to the Kings’ Club and assured their commitment as agents of change.
