The cleaning exercise initiated by the executive members of EYO witnessed a number of inhabitants and soccer loving individuals trooping into the stadium to clear dirt and bushy field with the use of machines.

However, the residents expressed dissatisfaction on the abandoned project promised by the Lagos Building Investment Company (LBIC) who, according to them, promised to rehabilitate the stadium to the state-of-the-art facility for sport activities.

The residents requested that the stadium which has hosted matches of the Lateef Jakande Estates’ football competitions should be in better condition.
