The incoming Imagine Rotary President of Rotaract Club of Isolo, Rotaractor Fausiyat Orunsolu has disclosed the impetus behind organising free medical outreach and donation of clothes to the less privileged in Isolo community to commemorate her 25th birthday.

She explained that commemorating her 25th birthday in such a manner was not difficult to explore, stating that humanitarian service means the world to her and she is ready to go all out and explore every possible avenue to add value to mankind.

She said over 50 residents of the community enjoyed free access to medical consultations and basic check-ups which include sugar level, high blood pressure, and Basic Mass Index (BMI) among others.

She added that some less privileged children were also given clothes.

“Humanitarian service means the world to me as I derive great pleasure and sense of achievement from any welfare programme I organise or take part in. Organising such programme to commemorate my 25th birthday is my way of supporting the less privilege in a low-income community in line with the first three  sustainable developmental goals (of the club) which focuses on eradicating poverty, hunger and promoting good health and well-being.”
