Lake Rice soon to return to Isolo

The highly sought after LAKE Rice is expected to be made available for sale, again in lsolo LCDA, after several months of state-wide scarcity. This was confirmed by the Sole Administrator, Hon. Abimbola Oshinkoya during a C.D.C meeting, held at the council secretariat recently.
The Administrator made this known while giving response to questions that concerns the development of the LCDA. She said as soon as the prerequisite for the Rice is met, it will be made available for sales in the council.a
Earlier on, before the arrival of the Sole Administrator, the monthly meeting was presided over by Alhaji Abisiga, the Chairman of the Community Development council. All the council executives were present.
In his address, Alhaji Abisiga appreciated the committee for their glorifying presence at his recent birthday celebration. He encourages the executives on fruitful efforts, in the fight against insecurity within the community and urged them to keep it up to make the community a more conducive place for residents and the several private businesses in the community.
He also implored the community council to overlook the incompetency of several Non-Governmental Organizations who had failed in one way or the other to live up to the peoples’ expectations.
Still on the development of the community, Alhaji Abisiga urged the executives to have put all hands-on deck, by playing their respective parts or role with diligently, he sternly implored them to pay up their state levy as many executives are still holding back in their payment.
The meeting was adjourned by Aljahji Shogunle and seconded by Elder Ogosu. The sudden demise of a fellow executive Chief Orebote who had recently departed for the great beyond was announced, it was a remorseful moment with everyone in attendance.
