As Nigerians celebrate the county’s 58th Independence Day amidst political activities, the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Kehinde Bamigbetan, has expressed joy that the country has been moving forward in terms of socio-economic, political and infrastructural development since the All Progressive Congress (APC) took the mantle of leadership.

The Ejigbo based Commissioner, in a statement, said he has no doubt that the country would keep growing and developing as long as the political party in charge continues to be in control.

He therefore appealed to the citizens of Nigeria not to desist from giving their support to the party at all levels of governance.

On the party’s gubernatorial primary in Lagos, Bamigbetan cautioned Lagosians on the issue, saying every eligible party member would be given equal right during the election that would finally take place across the state tomorrow Tuesday, the 2nd October, 2018.

He assured people that the decision of the party would be followed and adhered to by all members as the decision of the party is supreme to those of any individual or caucus.

He therefore admonished the party members to be of good conduct during and after the primary election and abide by the rule and regulation laid down by the party leaders.

In the same vein, the aspirant for Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II seat at the Federal House of Representatives under the platform of All Peoples Congress (APC), Hon. Habeeb Anibaba, has sent complimentary message to the people of Oshodi-Isolo on the occasion of the country’s Independence celebration, saying Nigerians have many reasons to be joyous.

According to him, there has been progress in all aspects especially on economy and security in the country.

Meanwhile, as the party commenced its Primaries last week starting with the Presidential one, Anibaba said the party values democracy and would not do anything contrary to the wish of the people.

Speaking on his candidacy, the House of Reps aspirant said that he has no doubt that he would win the primary and emerge the winner during the general elections, saying his candidacy has been approved and supported by every resident of the constituency.

He added that his mission and agenda which have been verified and ratified put him ahead of other contenders.
