Inaugural Chidinma Okeke Cup Match Kicks Off In Style

The inaugural edition of the Chidinma Okeke Cup have kicked off in style in Lagos.

The tournament is organized in honor of Super Falcons defender who has represented Nigeria at the top level.

Muab FC, Courteville FC, Fabrepass Academy and Golden Planners are the four clubs shortlisted to compete in the tourney.

In the opening game, Muab FC played a barren draw with Courteville FC despite the array of chances created in the game as both sides shared the spoils.

The second game was a four goals thriller as Fabrepass Academy and Golden Planners played a 2-2 draw.

The coordinator and LOC chairman of the competition, Ahmed Ademola said the tournament is to honor Chidinma Okeke and for her exploits representing Nigeria.

He assured that the tournament will be an impactful one to the community as its expected to birth more stars for the future.
