Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA Relieves Parents Of Educational Materials Stress
The Chairman, Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA),Hon. Olusesan Daini has promised to renovate a Block of classrooms in Methodist primary school as he distributed Educational materials to primary school pupils.
Twelve thousand pupils in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA benefited from the Fifty thousand (50,000) educational materials distributed.
Materials distributed include, Exercise Books, Biro, Pencil, Ruler, Sharpener and Eraser to pupils of UAMC ElejaPrimary School, Methodist primary school, and AUD Primary School in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.
According to the chairman, the exercise is a part of fulfillment of some of the electoral promises made to support primary education as constitutional responsibility to all primary schools.
Daini further explained that governance is about service to the people and his administration is ready to provide the needed materials to the people.
He noted that his administration decided to share educational materials because palliative is not only about food, but to support people to cushion the effects of subsidy removal.
He implore pupils to face their studies and to shun any form of social vices that can mar their careers or lives .
The Deputy Leader of the legislative arm, Igbogbo-BaiyekuLCDA, Hon. Basirat Banjoko noted that the educational materials was to ease the burden of parents instead of food palliative.
The headmistresses of the three schools expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Chairman for his unwavering commitment towards education.
They also offered their prayers for his continued success in his administration.
