I will represent Ilasamaja better if elected – Shoetan

The councillorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ilasamaja Ward, Wasiu Shoetan (aka Washo), has pledged to do things differently if elected and change the narrative in the community.

The Banking and Finance graduate of Lagos State Polytechnic explained that Ilasamaja residents deserve better representation at the local council for the progress and socio-economic development of the community.

The candidate, who claimed to have lived all his life in Ilasamaja, stated that a councillor representing the ward must be part of the community, expecting that as a member of Ilasamaja Youth Forum, the platform would help him realise his ambition.

He claimed to know the real challenges of the community and ready to fix them if elected.

Shoetan, who is an automobile dealer and IT expert, said he chose to aspire under PDP “I will want my people’s vote and voice to count and it is on this note I will like to appeal to them for their support and vote on July 24, 2021.”
